Many Indian leader's funeral happens with the state funeral. It is a public funeral which is held as an honour to people of national significance. It is also followed in strict protocol with all religious ceremonies. People come to pay their last visit as a respect and love for their leader and pay tribute.

To respect these leaders the government also name many places after their names. We will always remember them as one of India's greatest leaders.
